Tigerino Plant-Based Litter Tofu Pellets - Milky Scent is a biodegradable, fast-clumping cat litter made mainly of soya fibre and starch. This tofu litter is very hygienic and economical. Soya fibre is a by-product of tofu production, and it has been pressed to form lightweight pellets. These pellets create a water-soluble, clumping cat litter that can be disposed of in the toilet. Tigerino Plant-Based Litter Tofu Pellets form into firm clumps with minimal tracking, which help to make cleaning the litter tray easier and more pleasant. This litter has a milky, slightly sweet scent. Tigerino Tofu Litter is ideal for kittens! Good to know
- Choose unscented litter if your cat is hesitant: strong perfumes can put cats off the tray.
- Never flush cat litter, even ‘flushable’ types; bag it and bin it instead.
- Wear gloves or wash your hands after cleaning the tray, and avoid the job during pregnancy if someone else can do it.
Common questions
How often should I change all the litter?
Scoop daily and top up. Non-clumping litter usually needs a full change at least weekly, while clumping litter can go longer because only the soiled clumps are removed. Wash the tray with mild unscented soap whenever you empty it completely.
What litter is best for kittens?
Many owners start kittens on a soft, unscented, non-clumping or paper litter, because young kittens sometimes taste their litter. Use what the breeder or rescue used at first, in a low-sided tray, and change gradually if you want to switch.
