We recommend using the XL Wash Bag for cleaning: When cleaning pet products and accessories, we highly recommend using the XL Wash Bag to prevent hair getting into your washing machine and reduce the risk of damage from hard parts like zips and fasteners. Pet hair is trapped inside the bag without getting stuck to it, making them easy to remove by shaking the bag after cleaning. You can find more information about the XL Wash Bag here.

Good to know
- In multi-cat homes, offer more sleeping places than cats, at different heights.
- Put a new bed where your cat already likes to sleep rather than where it looks best in the room.
- Choose a bed with a removable, machine-washable cover and wash it every week or two.
Common questions
How often should I wash my cat’s bed?
Every week or two is a good routine, and more often during a flea problem, using a hot wash. Use a mild, unscented detergent and dry the bed completely before putting it back.
Do cats prefer open beds or enclosed dens?
It depends on the cat. Shy cats, cats in busy homes and cats that feel the cold often prefer an enclosed cave or igloo. Confident cats and those that sprawl usually prefer an open bed, ideally raised with a view of the room.
