A good dog harness should not be unnecessarily heavy so that it does not hinder or disturb your dog when running and romping around. The Nomad Tales Calma Harness - Burgundy is pleasantly light and fits perfectly to the body of your beloved four-legged friend thanks to the infinitely adjustable belly strap. For maximum comfort, the chest piece is softly padded and has a breathable mesh material on the inside. However, the Nomad Tales Calma Harness - Burgundy is not only unmistakable in functional terms, but also in its outer appearance: the pretty design with the timeless herringbone pattern and the tasteful “Burgundy” colouring give the harness its very own character. The metal elements in stylish matt gold round off the dog accessory perfectly. Good to know
- You should be able to slide two fingers flat under a collar. Check the fit again as puppies grow.
- Attach long lines to a harness, never a collar, to protect the neck if your dog hits the end at speed.
- Never use a head collar with an extendable lead or long line. A sudden stop can jerk the head.
Common questions
Are extendable leads safe?
They can be used safely on quiet open paths with a well-behaved dog. Near roads, lock them at a short length, and choose one rated for your dog’s weight. Never touch the cord while it is moving, and do not use one with a head collar.
How tight should a dog collar be?
You should be able to slide two fingers flat between the collar and your dog’s neck. It should not slip over the head when you pull gently forward. Check the fit regularly, especially for growing puppies.
