The perfect accessory for skittish dogs or for their first walks on the street: The Trixie Stay Panic Harness has an escape-proof design and prevents your dog from breaking free from the harness in dicey situations, making it safe and carefree. The safety harness is equipped with an additional belly strap that can be removed if needed. The straps are infinitely adjustable so that you can optimally adapt the harness to your dog’s shape. Good to know

  • Size harnesses by chest measurement, not weight, and check for rubbing under the front legs.
  • Keep your dog’s microchip details up to date whenever you move house or change phone number.
  • For dark walks, add a reflective or light-up collar so drivers see your dog sooner.

Common questions

Is a harness or a collar better for my dog?

A harness is usually better for dogs that pull, small and flat-faced breeds, and dogs with neck or breathing problems, as it keeps pressure off the throat. A collar is still needed for the ID tag. Many owners use both: collar for ID, harness for the lead.

Are extendable leads safe?

They can be used safely on quiet open paths with a well-behaved dog. Near roads, lock them at a short length, and choose one rated for your dog’s weight. Never touch the cord while it is moving, and do not use one with a head collar.
