Perfect for pussycats who feel most comfortable when they can see their surroundings: As an open bowl litter tray, the Trixie Be Eco Carlo litter tray with rim is characterised by easy accessibility and keeps escape options open. The high, curved rim reliably prevents too much litter from landing next to the litter tray during scratching. Granules or urine that would otherwise have gone astray are instead directed straight back into the litter tray. The Trixie Be Eco cat litter tray Carlo with rim also has a removable rim cover, which makes cleaning easier and allows toilet bags to be attached. Good to know for those who care about the environment: The bowl toilet was made from recycled plastic. Thanks to its modern design in matt, natural green, the cat toilet fits into many interiors. Common questions
Why has my cat stopped using the litter tray?
Common causes are a dirty or too small tray, a change of litter, a new location, a lid the cat dislikes or stress from another cat. Medical problems are also a frequent cause, so see a vet if your cat strains, goes often or passes blood. A male cat straining without passing urine is an emergency.
Is a hooded or open litter tray better?
Many cats prefer open trays, which do not trap smells and let them see around them. Hooded trays keep litter and odour contained for people and suit some cats that like privacy. If your cat hesitates to use a hooded tray, remove the lid and see if that helps.
