Febreze Freshness in Every Grain. Discover this Tigerino Performance Active Carbon Cat Litter - Febreze Fresh Linen Scent. The fine, extremely-absorbent and economical clumping litter made from clay granules contains active carbon that offers highly-effective odour binding. The activated carbon is highly porous with an enormous internal surface area - one gram of active carbon provides approximately 1000 square metres of surface area. Odours are reliably bound to the active carbon through physical strength. The fine-grained clay cat litter is made from bentonite and is highly-aborbent, gentle on the paws and forms firm, flat clumps that are easy to remove from your cat’s litter tray. Good to know
- Wear gloves or wash your hands after cleaning the tray, and avoid the job during pregnancy if someone else can do it.
- A litter mat in front of the tray catches granules from paws before they spread through the house.
- Keep litter at least 3 to 4 cm deep so your cat can dig and cover properly.
Common questions
Which cat litter is best for odour?
Clumping clay and silica litters usually control smells best, because urine is locked away and can be removed daily. Wood and plant-based clumping litters also do well. Whatever the type, daily scooping and enough trays make more difference than added fragrance.
Can you flush cat litter down the toilet?
It is not recommended, even for litters sold as flushable. UK water companies warn that litter can block sewers and that parasites from cat faeces are not removed by water treatment. Bag it for the general waste or compost suitable plant-based litter away from food crops.
