This waterproof Seat Guard car cover is a high-quality and easy to handle protective cover made of durable fabric for the entire rear passenger compartment. It is easily attached to the headrests and covers the entire back seat area. Special flaps, which are placed between the backrest and the seat and a rubberised underside offer your dog a non-slip surface to lie on. The blanket can be divided by 2 zippers if required, freeing up foot space to the left and right of the Safe Guard cover. This frees up plenty of space for passengers to sit either side of the blanket without having to move it. Seat belt buckles along the back seat are easily accessible, thanks to large seat belt openings sealed with Velcro fasteners. Which type of crate is best for the car?
Purpose-built aluminium car crates are the sturdiest and are shaped to fit the boot. Plastic transport crates and wire crates also work if they fit well and are secured so they cannot slide. Fabric crates are fine for calm dogs at your destination but offer little protection while driving.
What size crate does my dog need?
Your dog should be able to stand without its head touching the roof, turn around and lie flat on its side. Measure height to the top of the head or ears and length from nose to base of tail, add a few centimetres, and compare with the crate’s inside dimensions.
