If you own large-breed cats, the Savic Aseo Giant litter tray is the ideal addition to your equipment! The litter tray is particularly spacious and offers enough room for larger felines. Thanks to the low entrance, your pets have easy access to their new litter tray. The surrounding rim and the back of the Savic Aseo Giant litter tray are particularly high so that the cat litter stays in the tray and the surrounding area remains clean even during intensive scratching. Good to know

  • Top-entry boxes are not suitable for kittens, elderly cats or cats with stiff joints.
  • Replace carbon filters in hooded trays on the maker’s schedule, and replace the tray once it is badly scratched.
  • Kittens need a small, low-sided tray they can climb into easily.

Common questions

Is a hooded or open litter tray better?

Many cats prefer open trays, which do not trap smells and let them see around them. Hooded trays keep litter and odour contained for people and suit some cats that like privacy. If your cat hesitates to use a hooded tray, remove the lid and see if that helps.

How big should a litter tray be?

A common guideline is at least one and a half times your cat’s length from nose to base of tail, so it can turn round and dig comfortably. Measure the tray, as many products sold as large are too small for an adult cat.
