Sanicat White Rose Clumping Cat Litter has a particularly high clumping ability. It is made from 100% natural bentonite and is enriched with the natural strength of active oxygen. This material offers the benefit of strong odour binding and is particularly effective. This Sanicat White Rose Clumping Cat Litter can hold up to 250% its own weight in fluids, as well as having a coarse granule surface that does not stick to your cat’s paws. Binding moisture causes this Sanicat White Rose Clumping Cat Litter to form strong, flat clumps. These are very solid and can be removed from the rest of the litter. As the litter does not create dust, it can help to keep your cat’s toilet area cleaner. The natural ingredients in this Sanicat White Rose Clumping Cat Litter are particularly gentle on paws, made without the use of harmful chemicals that could aggravate sensitive skin. Good to know
- Compare litter by price per litre, not per kilo, as different materials vary a lot in weight.
- Choose unscented litter if your cat is hesitant: strong perfumes can put cats off the tray.
- Never flush cat litter, even ‘flushable’ types; bag it and bin it instead.
Common questions
Can you flush cat litter down the toilet?
It is not recommended, even for litters sold as flushable. UK water companies warn that litter can block sewers and that parasites from cat faeces are not removed by water treatment. Bag it for the general waste or compost suitable plant-based litter away from food crops.
How often should I change all the litter?
Scoop daily and top up. Non-clumping litter usually needs a full change at least weekly, while clumping litter can go longer because only the soiled clumps are removed. Wash the tray with mild unscented soap whenever you empty it completely.
