This hypoallergenic meat-based therapeutic wet food is formulated to meet the specific nutritional needs of dogs suffering from nutrition-related issues such as allergies or food intolerances. These can cause vomiting and diarrhoea, as well as dermatosis, itching and hair loss. To alleviate these symptoms your dog needs a diet which is adapted to its nutritional requirements. It is completely grain-free and the only vegetable it contains is easy-to-digest pumpkin. Fish oil is a great source of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids which help to reduce skin reactions.

Good to know

  • For small dogs, trays or pouches avoid half-used tins sitting in the fridge for days.
  • Check the label for ‘complete’ before feeding a wet food as the whole diet. Toppers and extras are often complementary.
  • To compare protein with dry food, divide the protein figure by (100 minus moisture) and multiply by 100.

Common questions

How long does opened wet dog food last in the fridge?

Check the label, but most manufacturers say a day or two. Keep it covered or in a lidded container rather than open in the tin. If it smells off or has changed colour, throw it away.

Why does wet dog food have so little protein compared with dry?

Because most of a tin is water. The analysis on the label is given ‘as fed’, including the moisture. Convert both foods to dry matter to compare them properly, and wet food often comes out as high or higher in protein.
