New design, same recipe! During the transition phase, orders can include products in both the old and the new design. Lukullus dog food is based on a particularly rich recipe. The combination of animal proteins, plant-based ingredients and valuable oils ensures that your dog is provided with all the nutrients it needs - without any chemical additives. Because nature provides everything your dog needs. All the ingredients in Lukullus dog food are processed freshly and gently. This preserves the original flavour of the meat and vegetables and ensures the nutrient content. The wholesome and healthy Lukullus dog food relies on the power of nature. Made with love in Germany. Salmon Chicken with Millet, Thyme and Olive Oil consists of tender chicken and succulent salmon, which contain plenty of protein and valuable omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Millet is a digestible and gluten-free source of carbohydrates. Thyme and olive oil refine the recipe, make the product a complete meal and can ensure a shiny coat and an active metabolism. A natural dog diet and a real treat.

Good to know

  • Lift any uneaten wet food after the meal rather than leaving it down, especially in warm weather.
  • Wash the bowl after every wet meal. Dried-on food quickly attracts bacteria and flies.
  • Cover an opened tin and keep it in the fridge, then use it within the time printed on the label.

Common questions

Why does wet dog food have so little protein compared with dry?

Because most of a tin is water. The analysis on the label is given ‘as fed’, including the moisture. Convert both foods to dry matter to compare them properly, and wet food often comes out as high or higher in protein.

Is wet food bad for my dog’s teeth?

It is a common belief, but ordinary kibble does little to clean teeth either. Brushing your dog’s teeth daily with dog toothpaste is the most effective home care, and dental check-ups at the vet pick up problems early.
