With its soft and flexible leather, this high-quality collar will be very comfortable for your four-legged friend. The buckle and ring are both gold-coloured which perfectly complements the colour of the collar. The metal loop for attaching a lead to this collar is positioned right next to the buckle, meaning that the fastenings will not press on your dog’s throat while you walk. Good to know
- In a public place your dog must wear a collar with your name and address on it or on a tag. A harness tag does not count.
- You should be able to slide two fingers flat under a collar. Check the fit again as puppies grow.
- Attach long lines to a harness, never a collar, to protect the neck if your dog hits the end at speed.
Common questions
Are extendable leads safe?
They can be used safely on quiet open paths with a well-behaved dog. Near roads, lock them at a short length, and choose one rated for your dog’s weight. Never touch the cord while it is moving, and do not use one with a head collar.
How tight should a dog collar be?
You should be able to slide two fingers flat between the collar and your dog’s neck. It should not slip over the head when you pull gently forward. Check the fit regularly, especially for growing puppies.
