A walk with your four-legged friend in muddy weather usually ends with wet and muddy paws and fur. With the extra-large Frinchillo dirt-trapping mat, water and mud can be reliably absorbed like a large sponge. This mat absorbs seven times its weight and dries five times faster than conventional mats. The grey-coloured dirt-trapping mat with three embroidered paws is made of soft chenille and microfibre. Used as a door mat, the mat absorbs damp paw prints directly in front of the entrance to the home and reliably prevents soiling of the floor. Thanks to its fully rubberised underside, the mat is reliably waterproof and particularly non-slip. Good to know
- Wash bedding at 60°C if your dog has had fleas, as this kills eggs and larvae in the fabric.
- Keep two washable covers or blankets so one is always clean while the other dries.
- Do not leave a gel cooling mat with a dog that chews. The gel inside should not be eaten.
Common questions
What size bed does my dog need?
Measure your dog lying stretched out from nose to base of tail and add roughly 15 to 30cm. Dogs that curl up can manage with a slightly smaller round bed, but sprawlers need the full length. If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger one.
Does my older dog need an orthopaedic bed?
Many older dogs are more comfortable on deep, dense foam that does not flatten under them, especially large breeds and dogs with stiff joints. It is not a treatment, so if your dog seems sore or slow to get up, see your vet as well.
