Treat your cat to a litter that impresses with its special qualities! Biokat’s Organic Care Plant Fibres Cat Litter is produced in Italy using a unique refinement process, providing your indoor cat with a pleasantly soft surface for delicate paws. The natural fibres form extremely stable clumps, which are effortlessly easy to remove - keeping the litter tray clean and fresh for longer, while your furry companion feels completely comfortable. The high absorbency makes this litter particularly economical, as the plant fibres absorb several times their own weight in liquid. Unpleasant odours stand no chance with Biokat’s Organic Care Plant Fibres: a special additive reliably controls odour development and ensures long-lasting freshness in your home. The up to 99% dust-free recipe is also ideal for sensitive cats and lets you breathe easy. Thanks to its low weight, the litter is especially light to carry and handle - for more comfort in everyday life with your cat. Good to know

  • Wear gloves or wash your hands after cleaning the tray, and avoid the job during pregnancy if someone else can do it.
  • A litter mat in front of the tray catches granules from paws before they spread through the house.
  • Keep litter at least 3 to 4 cm deep so your cat can dig and cover properly.

Common questions

Can you flush cat litter down the toilet?

It is not recommended, even for litters sold as flushable. UK water companies warn that litter can block sewers and that parasites from cat faeces are not removed by water treatment. Bag it for the general waste or compost suitable plant-based litter away from food crops.

How often should I change all the litter?

Scoop daily and top up. Non-clumping litter usually needs a full change at least weekly, while clumping litter can go longer because only the soiled clumps are removed. Wash the tray with mild unscented soap whenever you empty it completely.
