beaphar FIPROtec® Flea Tick Spot-On for Dogs - S (2-10kg) is an affordable treatment for fleas and ticks. The formula kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. It contains fipronil which affects the nervous system of fleas, causing hyperactivity. As a result, it is possible to see “more” fleas following the treatment before it takes the full effect. Easy to apply formula with veterinary strength, yet without the need for a prescription. Simply part your dog’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin. Apply half the pipette between the shoulder blades and apply half at the base of the neck, directly onto the skin. Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry. Suitable for dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing 2-10kg. Treat all pets in the household every month for optimum flea and tick protection. Good to know

  • Remove ticks with a tick hook by twisting, never pulling or squeezing the body.
  • Many wormers do not cover lungworm. If your dog eats slugs, snails or grass, ask your vet about protection.
  • Note the date of every treatment. Protection runs out on schedule, not when you notice fleas.

Common questions

What tapeworm treatment does my dog need to enter Great Britain?

A vet must give a treatment containing praziquantel, or an equivalent, between 24 and 120 hours before you arrive, and record it on your dog’s documents. Dogs coming directly from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Finland, Malta or Norway are exempt.

How often should I worm my dog?

European parasite experts (ESCCAP) recommend at least four times a year when a dog’s risk is unknown, and monthly for higher-risk dogs, such as those that eat slugs, scavenge or are fed raw. Puppies need more frequent worming. Your vet can set a schedule for your dog’s lifestyle.
