Wolf of Wilderness Junior - Duo Protein Recipes are based on the wolf’s natural eating habits and will appeal to your young dog’s natural instincts. We all love our dogs and consider them an important member of the family. Many believe that the domesticated dog originates from the wolf. Research into the wolves’ natural eating habits shows that their diet consists of mostly meat from prey and some berries, herbs and roots (often eaten as part of the prey’s stomach contents). This diet has remained unchanged throughout the course of evolution. Wolf of Wilderness wet puppy food is completely grain-free and low in carbohydrates since wolves in the wild rarely eat them. The wholesome wet food is similar to the wolf’s natural diet. It is well-accepted, easy to digest and provides your growing pet with a balanced nutrient uptake. Wolf of Wilderness Junior - Duo Protein Recipes contains at least 66% pure meat and top-quality offal. This provides your pet with easy to digest proteins, fat and vitamins. The fruits of the forest mixed berries, herbs such as ribwort, nettle and common yarrow provide important minerals as well as secondary plant matter. The premium quality ingredients provide your trusty pet with a tasty, natural meal and you can be sure that you are feeding your dog with a species-appropriate diet. Good to know

  • To compare protein with dry food, divide the protein figure by (100 minus moisture) and multiply by 100.
  • Lift any uneaten wet food after the meal rather than leaving it down, especially in warm weather.
  • Wash the bowl after every wet meal. Dried-on food quickly attracts bacteria and flies.

Common questions

How long does opened wet dog food last in the fridge?

Check the label, but most manufacturers say a day or two. Keep it covered or in a lidded container rather than open in the tin. If it smells off or has changed colour, throw it away.

Why does wet dog food have so little protein compared with dry?

Because most of a tin is water. The analysis on the label is given ‘as fed’, including the moisture. Convert both foods to dry matter to compare them properly, and wet food often comes out as high or higher in protein.
