After sterilization or castration, your cat’s metabolism changes. This can be accompanied by a calmer, more domestic lifestyle and an increased appetite. Ultima Sterilised Hairball Turkey has been specially developed to support the well-being of sterilized cats. Thanks to a low fat and calorie content and carbohydrates with a low glycemic index, the balanced dry food helps with weight control. Cats love to groom their fur. Ultima Sterilised Hairball Turkey gently eliminates accidentally swallowed hair. Good to know
- Weigh the daily ration on kitchen scales: dry food is energy-dense and a heaped scoop can be far more than the guideline.
- Store kibble in its original bag inside an airtight container, so you keep the batch number and best-before date.
- Keep fresh water within reach at all times, as dry food contains only about 10 per cent moisture.
Common questions
Is grain-free dry food better for cats?
Not necessarily. Grain-free foods replace cereals with other starches such as potato or peas, so they are not automatically lower in carbohydrate. They can help the small number of cats with a diagnosed grain intolerance; for other cats, the overall recipe and the right portion size matter more.
Can I leave dry food out all day?
Yes, if your cat eats small amounts throughout the day and keeps a healthy weight. If your cat eats everything at once or is gaining weight, weigh the daily ration and split it into meals or use a puzzle feeder instead.
