Changed product design, unchanged formula: Royal Canin Oral Care becomes Royal Canin Dental Care. Toothache and dental problems can have an effect on your entire body and soul, and the same goes for our cats. Royal Canin Dental Care has been developed to support your cat’s oral health, with chemical and mechanical processes that reduce the build up of plaque and tartar. Dental abrasion and calcium binding also help to minimise bad breath, as the bacteria find less space to live in. Royal Canin Dental Care also contains L.I.P. proteins, which are highly digestible and top quality. This results in improved nutritional value of the food, which in turn leads to a happier, all-round more energetic cat. - Use part of the daily kibble in a puzzle feeder or as treats instead of adding extra food.
Common questions
What does ‘sterilised’ mean on cat food?
It is a recipe for neutered cats, which need fewer calories and tend to put on weight. These foods are usually lower in fat and energy, sometimes with more fibre. You still need to feed the right amount, as a sterilised food overfed will still cause weight gain.
How long does dry cat food last once opened?
It stays safe until the best-before date if stored well, but the fats slowly oxidise and the smell fades once the bag is open, so fussy cats may lose interest. Buy a bag size you will finish within a few weeks, keep it rolled tight in an airtight container, and check the pack for the maker’s advice.
