Green Petfood Sensitive with Insects Rice is made with a digestible recipe that is ideal as a complete food for dogs with sensitive digestive tracts. It uses insects as the sole source of animal protein, which is seldom used in dog food and can often, therefore, be more easily digested. Rice provides easily digestible carbohydrates, whilst the special “Immune Plus” blend of vitamin C, vitamin E, inulin and yeast can support natural bodily functions. Green Petfood Sensitive with Insects Rice is free from gluten, added sugar and artificial colours, flavours or preservatives - made in Germany without animal testing or genetically-modified ingredients. Good to know
- Compare economy packs by price per kilo, but only buy a size your dog will finish while the opened bag still smells fresh.
- Feeding guides assume a dog at a healthy weight. If your dog is carrying extra weight, ask your vet how much to feed.
- Leave fresh water down at all times. Dogs on an all-dry diet get almost all their fluid from the bowl.
Common questions
How long does an opened bag of dry dog food last?
Once opened, kibble slowly loses freshness as the fats react with air. Keep the bag rolled tightly in an airtight container, away from heat and damp, and follow any guidance on the pack. If the food smells stale or rancid, or your dog suddenly loses interest, replace it.
Is grain-free dry food better for my dog?
Not automatically. Most dogs digest cooked grains well, and food allergies are more often linked to animal proteins than to grain. Grain-free recipes can suit some dogs, but if you are choosing one without a medical reason, discuss it with your vet.
