Living with humans for the past 15,000 years has altered dogs both in appearance and behaviour from their ancestor, the wolf. Their dietary needs and particularly their meat requirements however, remain unchanged. animonda GranCarno Original exclusively contains carefully selected high quality meat from heart, lung, liver and muscle. The carefully prepared, fresh ingredients provide optimal absorption of nutrients. This preserves the natural fibrous structure of the meat, which is a sign of unadulterated freshness. It also maintains the meaty flavour for improved acceptance. The menus contain neither grains nor soya, flavour enhancers or artificial colourants or preservatives in the recipes. Good to know
- Wash the bowl after every wet meal. Dried-on food quickly attracts bacteria and flies.
- Cover an opened tin and keep it in the fridge, then use it within the time printed on the label.
- Take refrigerated food out a while before serving. Cold food smells less, and fussy dogs may turn it down.
Common questions
Is wet food bad for my dog’s teeth?
It is a common belief, but ordinary kibble does little to clean teeth either. Brushing your dog’s teeth daily with dog toothpaste is the most effective home care, and dental check-ups at the vet pick up problems early.
Can I feed my dog only wet food?
Yes, as long as the label says it is a complete food for your dog’s life stage. Wet food costs more per day than dry for the same calories, especially for large dogs. Some owners use wet food as the main meal and a little kibble for training or puzzle toys.
