Cats are carnivores. animonda Carny cat food is made using only carefully selected premium meat which is gently processed to produce this delicious cat food. animonda Carny contains only freshly prepared, tasty meat. Nothing more. It is completely grain-free and does not contain artificial flavour enhancers, colours or preservatives. animonda Carny is guaranteed free of soya, artificial colouring and preservatives, and any GM ingredients. Each recipe is made using only the stated meat which is an excellent source of animal protein as well as natural taurine, a vital amino acid which cats cannot produce in adequate quantities, so it needs to be supplemented through diet. Good to know
- Lift uneaten wet food after an hour or two, sooner in warm weather, and wash the bowl before the next meal.
- ‘With chicken’ on a label means at least 4 per cent chicken; ‘chicken flavour’ means there may be none at all.
- Tins of fillets or flakes in broth are often complementary: check for the word ‘complete’ before feeding them as a main meal.
Common questions
Is wet food better than dry food for cats?
Neither is better in every case, as long as the food is complete. Wet food supplies a lot of water, which helps cats that drink little, while dry food is cheaper and convenient. Many owners feed a mix. If your cat has a urinary or kidney problem, ask your vet which they recommend.
How long can wet cat food be left out?
Wet food is best lifted after an hour or two, and sooner on warm days when it dries out and attracts flies. Opened cans and trays should go in the fridge, covered, and be used within the time stated on the pack.
