Cats love meat because it reflects their natural diet. Plant-based ingredients alone are unsuitable for a species-appropriate and natural diet, as cats cannot obtain or absorb all essential nutrients from them. Furthermore, cereals are a common cause of food intolerances and are often difficult to digest. For this reason, animonda Carny Adult contains no cereals in its recipe. Soya, which also has a high allergenic potential, is likewise excluded. Only fresh meat ingredients such as heart, lung, muscle meat and liver are used as valuable sources of protein. These particularly high-quality animal proteins also provide your feline friend with natural taurine - an amino acid essential for cats. Taurine supports normal heart function and healthy vision. As cats cannot produce sufficient taurine themselves, it must be supplied through their diet. No artificial colours or preservatives are added. Enriched with important vitamins and minerals, this food provides your cat with everything it needs for a balanced and complete diet. animonda Carny Adult 6 x 200g at a glance: Balanced complete food for all adult cats Ideal for nutritionally sensitive cats and those prone to allergies Grain-free: for optimal digestibility and gentle on the stomach Made only with fresh meat and offal: delivering high-quality protein, natural taurine and an unbeatable taste Open declaration: what’s advertised is exactly what’s included WITHOUT: preservatives, colourings, flavour enhancers, soya or sugar Made in Germany

Good to know

  • ‘With chicken’ on a label means at least 4 per cent chicken; ‘chicken flavour’ means there may be none at all.
  • Tins of fillets or flakes in broth are often complementary: check for the word ‘complete’ before feeding them as a main meal.
  • Large cans are usually cheaper per kilo than pouches, which makes them good value in multi-cat homes.

Common questions

Is wet food better than dry food for cats?

Neither is better in every case, as long as the food is complete. Wet food supplies a lot of water, which helps cats that drink little, while dry food is cheaper and convenient. Many owners feed a mix. If your cat has a urinary or kidney problem, ask your vet which they recommend.

How long can wet cat food be left out?

Wet food is best lifted after an hour or two, and sooner on warm days when it dries out and attracts flies. Opened cans and trays should go in the fridge, covered, and be used within the time stated on the pack.
